c'est toujours difficil de dire quoi prendre alors je te donne mon témoignage:

j'ai mis de la Total Activa 9000 en 5w40 100% synthèse à ma dernière vidange
sur mon e36 m50b25.

+1 pour Saubade: je crois aussi que de l'huile top niveau pour M3 est sur-dimentioné pour un simple M52b20
sauf si tu veux te l'offrir pour te faire plaisir.

en fait jete partis pour acheter la 10w60 qui parait etre la meilleur de toute mais elle magnifique pour les M !
est ce que pour mon modeste 2 litre ca fait rien de mal ? je sais pas moi trop fluide ou trop epaisse...
si ca ne fait que du bien alors je fonce puisque apparament c'est le top !

la meilleure huile pour ton moteur est celle precaunisée par le constructeur.

Mettre de la 10W60 TWS Castrol (dite huile spéciale est compatible avec ton moteur) ne sert à rien sur le M52B20, sauf si la voiture est destinée à faire du circuit, et encore...mais je ne voudrait pas être categorique

Choisis plutot une huile agreée Long Life 98 (agrement BMW) avec une classe de viscosité de type 5W40 ou 5W30.
Apres, la marque, le prix, ....

Les huiles sont à la base un composant brut fabriqué par quelques grands industriels comme Mobil, Total, ..
Tu as ensuite les assembleurs qui ont chacun leur formule avec leur additifs (comme Castrol, Motul, Yacco, Labo, ...)
Tu peut alors porter ton choix sur les retours d'experience avec telle ou telle huile, ou encore les collections d'agrements.

Par exemple, j'ai porté mon choix sur la Castrol GTX5 qui est agreé LL98 en 5W40.
Pour guider mon choix : elle porte les agrements Porsche, VW, BMW, Mercedes, ..., et elle a tres bonne reputation. (L'ancien proprietaire de ma 7 utilisait cette huile). J'en suis pleinement satisfait, je n'ai pas de bruits de poussoirs alors que j'en avaout un petit peu avec la Labo que j'utilisait avant sur ma E30 (huile dejà de tres bon niveau).

Je viens de trouver chez carrefour de la Mobil 5w40 en promo 5L + 2l à 34 euros
ca fait un bon rapport qualité /prix car le bidon de 2l est bien souvent aux alentour de 15 euros

Et avec une vidange de 6l dans mon auto, du coup il me reste de quoi faire les niveaux

vas voir par ici j'ai le même bloc que toi, y a mes factures BMW en scans

pour résumé 5W40 100% synthèse, homologuée BMW LL98 si possible : voir sur le bidon. Si pas LL98 il faudra rapprocher tes vidanges ( tous les 20000 en LL98 )

pour le filtre à huile ( 9€ chez BMW ) il te faut une douille de 36mm pour le démontage, les joints y compris pour le bouchon de vidange sont fournis avec

les bougies c'est 80 à 100000 kms selon usage, moi à 90000 elles etaient encore pas mal du tout.
ça vaut dans les 16€ pièce chez BMW, un peu long à changer mais pas compliqué pour autant.

filtre à air, 15 secondes chrono...
filtre à essence jamais changé ( c'est la mission sur Z3 )
